Big Idea Grant Contest Also Pays Big
For the last 3 years, The Big Idea small business grant contest has paid $50,000 in seed money to entrepreneurs in Oak Park, River Forest and the surrounding area. Could you be the next Big Idea winner?

The contest is offered through Entrepreneur Leaders in Philanthropy (ELP), a philanthropic organization formed by the Oak Park and River Forest Community Foundation. ELP brings together 40 business leaders, each contributing $2,500 toward a fund of $100,000, that is used in part to fund a Big Idea that could make a significant impact in Oak Park and River Forest communities for generations to come.

Who can apply?

Any individual, group or organization that has a big idea that will make a big impact on the communities of Oak Park and River Forest may apply. Projects need to be aligned with a non-profit organization.

Criteria for applicants

Projects submitted must demonstrate the ability to transform and positively impact the communities of Oak Park and/or River Forest. Ideally, the contest is looking for big ideas that could put Oak Park and/or River Forest on the map as a national leader.
