General Mills Foundation Grants are focused on what they do best: increasing food security and sustaining agriculture. By offering grants to businesses focused on food and agriculture, the company is also sustaining communities.

The grant program is interested in supporting companies who:

  • support food growth
  • help farmers increase agricultural production
  • restore watersheds
  • conserve natural resources

Businesses who provide services in the areas of hunger and nutrition wellness, and education may apply for a grant. Priority will be given to projects within General Mills Minneapolis/St. Paul area. Grant cycles vary, depending on the focus area. For example, grants in the area of nutrition and wellness have an application deadline in January.
