Jackson County, Mississippi, Chamber of Commerce
For the second year in a row, the Jackson County, Mississippi, Chamber of Commerce is offering grants to small businesses in the area. Five grants of $2,500 each will be awarded to small businesses to help them expand and grow.

Eligible small businesses are those who have 50 or less employees and are members of the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce. The grant money can be used to make improvements to storefronts, purchase equipment, to develop marketing plans, for advertising campaigns, to add displays for more merchandise, and other business-related expenses that will improve customer service.

Each year, the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce creates a small business fund from donations from corporations and other companies dedicated to supporting the growth of small business in their community. The fund allows small businesses to apply for these grants through corporate contributions from companies that are interested in the growth and development of the small business community in Jackson County.

Since 1943, the Jackson County Chamber of Commerce has supported small business and other efforts to improve the economy and quality of life for residents in Jackson County.
